A new idea born

From our enormous passion for developmental play, we are naturally a big fan of magnetic toys. Because magnetism is a wonderfully interesting physical phenomenon that captures children's imagination enormously. Due to the tremendous increase in popularity and types of magnetic play materials, we suddenly got the idea; how nice it would be to move the magnetic game to the wall to offer children an expansion in artistic and magnetic play opportunities.

Search for the appropriate magnetic play board

Our search for a magnetic play board or magnetic wall board yielded nothing that met our aesthetic standards as well as safety requirements. Most magnetic boards are ugly white shiny boards that you find in offices or dull gray versions for in the warehouse. Our idea was for a magnetic game board for on the wall with a nice shape, which appeals to children in beautiful colors and which would fit into the professional interior of a daycare or school but would also not be out of place in a restaurant, hotel or dentist's office.

Getting started with our own product

What doesn't already exist can be made, so we set to work on our own. To make a sufficiently powerful magnetic board for the wall, it had to be made of steel. Nothing so annoying when you are playing, are in the middle of your creation and your play material thunders off. In addition, we wanted a fun shape equipped with a scratch-resistant matte powder coating in modern colors and a super secure wall mount. Based on our wish list, a technical working drawing was created, we got to work with contacts in our own network, submitted our plans, requested quotes and looked at many color samples.

We christened the bow-shaped magnetic wall plate “Bow” and designed it based on the idea that every child is a “tiny artist. This innovative wall-mounted magnetic bow offers children an expansion in artistic and magnetic play opportunities as we envisioned from the first idea. From their own imagination and creativity, tiny artists can create colorful structures, repeating patterns, imaginative constructions and unique works of art with a variety of magnetic play materials.

An asset for every kids corner

The Magna Creations magnetic play plate for on the wall is an asset for the (magnetic) construction corner in day care and/or bso but also for playgroups, play corners in stores, hotels and catering or waiting rooms of (medical) practices. It takes up little space and is attractive for children from 1 to 10 years of age. And frankly, this magnetic board is also attractive for adults and a crisper version for offices and warehouses than the existing variants.
